Alfred Michael Charles (MICK) as he was known, I dont know a great deal about my Dads baby years. But this is what I do know--he was the only son to his parents--Alfred & Priscilla (Daisy) Baugh. He had one sister Jean.His early years passed with him having fun and being naughty, he was in the St Johns Ambulance core. As he grew to a young man I know he had an absolutely wicked sense of dress and fashion.He met June (his WIFE--our MUM)in his late teens, he used to pass letters to June through her brother Mick. They would go out dancing and enjoying themselves and he would ensure June got home safe before trying to catch the bus, I beleive many an evening he walked home with Mums friend who did the same to his girlfriend.Mum said the first time she saw him she nearly turned around and went back home(HE HAD ON THE BRIGHTEST SUIT). Were all GRATEFUL she didnt.
