This was the time of my Dads life I know he loved, me & Sharyn were all grown up and Lisa was no longer a baby so Mum and Dad got some freedom to be together again. We would watch them walk down the road hand in hand to go out on a Saturday night(Lisa usually planning to have some sort of party in the house). They never let on but they always knew what we were up to-and they always let us carry on (we were brought up to know the boundaries !!) We had a few more holidays at Hayling when D was growing up, we had 1 truly memorable fortnight on the Isle of Wight when Candyce was about 3 yrs old (Buddley Bay no way !!).
